Abraham S. Tama was born in Cairo on March 8, 1956 to Sayeed Ibrahim Toama and Amina Toama. Abraham passed away unexpectedly on January 8th, 2022 after a short battle with cancer, while his family was by his side.
Abraham graduated from Ain Shams University with an Agriculture engineering degree. After his long and successful professional soccer career, Abraham moved to the United States where he went on to become an Executive Gourmet Chef. Abraham had a very successful career of over 30 years cooking for various establishments/events, including the United Nations General Assembly, Presidential Events, the PGA Tour, among others. Abraham’s love and passion was helping people. He made everyone feel like family and never left anyone out. Abraham always believed in spreading joy, and doing what is right. In his spare time, he loved watching and playing sports, spending time with his family, and giving back to his community.
Abraham leaves behind a family to cherish his memories, his spouse Maggie, their two sons, Aj and Justin as well as several brothers, and sisters both here and in Egypt.
