Barbara Hawkins Obituary

Barbara (Barb) J. Mann Hawkins, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, October,16th, in Raleigh, North Carolina.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Hawkins of Angier, NC and Stephen Hawkins from Cape Cod, and her grandchildren, Zach and Emilee, brothers James Mann from Maine ( his son Eli) Peter Mann from S. Yarmouth, Ma ( his daughters Katie & Brianna).

Barbara graduated from Skidmore College in Music Education and taught music in high school for several years. Later, she found interest in corporate sales on Cape Cod, retiring in 2005. Barbara was a passionate crafter in furniture painting, weaving, sewing, stretching cotton to make pillows and an excellent piano player. Barbara loved the beach and a shell collector to make mirror frames and lamps.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for Barb at a later time.
