On July 5th, 2020, God called our beloved Brandon home to rest. Brandon was born on July 15th, 1985 in Goldsboro, North Carolina, to Sandra and Brian Billups. Brandon attended Eastern Wayne High School in Goldsboro North Carolina.
He was a free thinking, free-spirited fun-loving person, always the life of the party. Anyone who has ever experienced one of his jokes, conversations, or signatures smiles knows the contagious beautiful spirit that Brandon exuded. Brandon was an avid chess player; you could find him on his phone playing or on any available chess board. He also loved playing sports and reading the bible. Brandon was very family oriented, he enjoyed creating memorable moments with his daughter Ajaia. Through the challenges that Brandon faced in his life he found solace in reading the bible and attending church.
Brandon was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother and grandfather Lillie Bell and Samuel Bryant, paternal grandmother, and grandfather Delia and Henry Joseph Billups, paternal aunt Martha Gray, paternal uncles Joseph Billups, Bailey Winston, James (Jake) Winston.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his daughter Ajaia Nicholas - Billups of Raleigh; mother Sandra Billups of Raleigh, NC,; Father Brian Billups of Raleigh NC,; three brothers Brian (Melissa) Billups of Charlotte, Brenton Billups of Raleigh, Dekievous Bryant of LaGrange; two sisters Briaonna Billups of Raleigh and Brittanni Billups Raleigh; special friend, Candice Leak as well as a host of uncles aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
