Brandon Bernard Hunt was born November 4, 1988 to Bruce and Vanessa Hunt in Inglewood, CA. He departed this life May 20, 2021.
Brandon attended Millbrook Elementary, Centennial Middle School and graduated from Broughton High School. Brandon was baptized at a young age at St. Matthew Baptist Church. He participated in different children’s activities, and the choir. He furthered his education at Nashville Auto Diesel College. Later, he obtained a bartender’s license.
Brandon joined the United States Marine Corps in 2009. He served as Private First Class, Corporal, Aircraft Mechanic, Parachute Rigger, and Qualified sharpshooter. He completed two tours. He received an honorable discharge in 2014 while residing in San Diego, CA. He moved to Los Angeles, CA and recently relocated to Raleigh in March 2021.
Brandon was in the Hotel Management luxurious hotels such as the London and the Roosevelt for many years. His latest business adventure was to open up a mobile canteen named “Compas Agua Fresca”. The company was to bring fresh taste of his signature drinks to the Raleigh area! It was the perfect way to cool down with all natural ingredients; from his classic horchata to the most popular “El Jeffe”. Brandon wanted to bring Mexican inspired juices and treats with a NC flare.
Brandon was the #1 fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and Los Angeles Lakers. He rarely missed a game.
Brandon leaves to cherish his precious memories; his wife, Karen Hunt of Los Angeles, CA; children, Aiden Harper of Murfreesboro, TN, and Jadyn Hunt of Tuscaloosa, AL; parents, Bruce and Vanessa Hunt of Raleigh, NC; siblings, Stephanie Hunt of Knightdale, NC and Briana Hunt of Raleigh, NC; grandparents of California and North Carolina; two nieces; one nephew, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
