Obituary

Mebane – Brenda Lou Howard, age 75, died at her home on August 31, 2023. She was born on September 5, 1947 to the late Ray Isaac Howard and Christine Morgan Howard.

Brenda was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister and she loved spending time with family. She loved to host and cook gourmet meals, traveling when she could, and she absolutely loved the beach.

Brenda Lou Howard is survived by her two children Hope Williamson Collins (Cory) of Mebane and Morgan (Mo) Howard Williamson (Jaime) of Elon, two granddaughters Caitlin Glyn Collins and Gracie Morgan Collins of Mebane, a great granddaughter Bethany Lee Glyn Collins of Mebane, an uncle Dan W. Howard (Becky) the last of 7 brothers still living and many cousins. Brenda Lou Howard was preceded in death by her parents Ray Isaac Howard and Christine Morgan Howard, her brother Kenneth Ray Howard, and a grandson Cory (CJ) Glenn Collins, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on October 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 at Yates Baptist Church in the Sanctuary.
