Charlotte Regina Henderson

On September 29, 2023, the world lost one of its brightest lights, Charlotte Regina Henderson, 61, of Boston, Massachusetts following a courageous battle with cancer. Charlotte passed away surrounded by love at her sister’s home in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Charlotte was born to devoted mother Helen (Angel) Brandon on November 29, 1961 in Boston, Massachusetts and growing up she felt blessed to also have the loving attention and guidance of her many aunts, uncles and extended family as well.

Throughout the ups and downs of her life, one thing remained constant — Charlotte’s unwavering love and support of her family and friends, and especially of her children, whom she often described as her “greatest accomplishments.” She watched with joy and pride as they grew up and began families of their own.

Charlotte’s legacy will remain one of boundless heart and generosity. Those fortunate enough to have known her felt the depth of her affection. She saw people — really saw them — and made friends wherever she went. She impacted countless lives, leaving an indelible mark of love and warmth.

Charlotte is survived by her treasured children, Dayna Henderson of Boston, Massachusetts and Brandon Henderson with his loving wife, Andreya of Raleigh, NC.; her grandchildren: Briahna Henderson, JaMiya Clinkscales, Aubrey Henderson, and Marlo Whitfield. She will also be forever loved and remembered by her siblings: Marcus Henderson of Boston, Massachusetts and Tracy Herron and Marcia Henderson of Raleigh, North Carolina, as well as her dear cousin Zoni Wiley of Boston, Massachusetts.

Continuing her legacy of love are her nieces and nephews: Marcus, Tod, Tyler, Jamirah, Johnathan, and Ha’lynn. They, along with countless friends and extended family members, will forever keep her memory alive.

Charlotte now reunites in eternal peace with her loving mother, Helen (Angel) and father Clifford Henderson while her memory serves as a testament to a life lived fully with an undeniable love that will forever echo in the hearts of those she touched.

A Celebration of Life in her honor will be held October 14, 2023, in Raleigh, North Carolina
