Obituary

Constance Marie Leggett, was born August 22, 1952 in Forsyth County, North Carolina. On August 31, 2021 she transitioned from earth to glory. In her early years she became a cheerleader for West Cary High School, where she received her high school diploma. Later in life Constance attended St. Augustine University, where she obtained her certificate as a certified nursing assistant. Constance had a son, her one and only child, the late Joenathan Leggett. Her son was her pride, and joy. Constance worked at Alcatel for several years doing soldering, and later Data General Corp. where she retired.

Constance joined Church of God Prophecy in 1976, and was later called into ministry in the early 80's. She enjoyed teaching the word of God to others. Constance would hold bible study meetings for her friends, and neighbors every chance she had. Constance had a hobby of shopping. Thrifting, and consignment shops were her thing. Overall family was most important to her. She loved to plan family gatherings, so everyone could get together for some good food, and laughter.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents Ethel, and Walter Leggett Sr.; sisters Eulenia Humphreys, Princella Lash, and Elsie Blanche Brooks; beloved son Joenathan Leggett.

Leaving behind to cherish her memories are, her daughter-in-law, Shanda Leggett; two granddaughters, Pre'Shaus Williams (Carl), and Tytiana Leggett; three great-granddaughters Annika, Laila, and Yuri Williams; five sisters, Blonnie (Herbert) Dunn, Thelma Thompson, Carolyn (Frank) Shepard, Danzie Dunn, and Arlesia Harris; one brother, Walter Leggett Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, godchildren, and friends
