Edson Haskins Obituary

On 01/12/2024, Edson D. Haskins peacefully passed away during the morning. He was born and raised in Leicester, Vermont. Edson was a devoted, loving husband and father. Edson was a hard worker. He enjoyed being outside with his riding lawn mower while doing yard work, working on vehicles, especially his truck, and loved having bonfires. He served for our country in the Army National Guards at Camp Johnson in Colchester, Vermont. He worked for Whitcomb construction as a foreman for 10 yrs. He also was a security guard part time for several years after retirement. Edson had touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by those who knew him well. He had a heart of gold, loved helping people, and loved to make people laugh. 

Edson was survived by his wife of 54yrs, Pearl E. Haskins, daughters Becky McMahon, Holly Haskins, son-in-law Robert McMahon, Grandson's Noah Haskins, Chris McMahon, siblings Judith Pearson, Robert Haskins, Cheryl Pinkham-Peck, Sadie Kemp, many nieces and nephews. 

Edson was predeceased by parents Harold E. Haskins & Donna Haskins, brother Douglas Haskins, sisters Patty Dodge, Lenora Parker, Stepson David M. Bishop, grandson Dustin L.  Schuman, great grandson Aiden M. Haskins. 

A private celebration of life will be held.
