Mr. Emmanuel Balogun Kojo Richards was born in Accra, Ghana on September 2, 1940, and passed away on November 21, 2021. He was the son of Late Mrs. Fannyann Elizabeth Richards and Late Mr. Balogun Richards.
Emmanuel attended St. Helena AME Senior Secondary School in Sierra Leone. Upon his graduation, he worked at Post and Telecommunications which later became Sierra Tel and worked there for more than 30 years. He migrated to the US in August of 2000, then worked at Lawndale Manor Assisted Living and Food Lion until his retirement.
Emmanuel was a God-fearing and active worker in the Lord's vineyard all his life of which he dedicated his retirement by serving full time with Jehovah's Witness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kezia Ayainke Richards; daughters, Gillian Akabi-Davis, Perina Mason, and Bridgette Akibo-Betts; sons-in-law, David Akibo- Betts and William Akabi-Davis; grand-children, Alvin Akabi-Davis, Adrian Akabi-Davis, and Davette Akibo-Betts; cousin, Princess Jackson; nieces, Edith Stober, Eunice Taylor, Victoria Palmer & Cecilia Richards; friends, Ina Coker, E.B Vincent, Dale Carter, and all the bothers of the Jehovah witnesses. Other relatives include, The Jackson, Williams, Keisters, Ademu-John, Carew and Syl Thorpe.
We have lost a dear Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother who has been called to be with the Lord. Until we meet again. MAY HIS SOUL REST IN PERFECT PEACE.
