Harold Dexter Evans

Harold Dexter Evans, 67 years of age passed on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was born January 17, 1956, in Raleigh, NC to Leamon and Ada Evans. He was the youngest of three children.

Harold graduated from Enloe High School. After high school, he joined the United States Army in 1974. He received an honorable discharge after ten years of dedicated service. After the military, he started his career at the City of Raleigh.

In 1993, he married Susan Johnson Evans and that union lasted 32 years. Harold retired from the City of Raleigh in 2011 and began enjoying the fruits of retirement which included: family vacations, Sunday gatherings, enjoying his music and most of all football season with family.

Harold was preceded in death by his Parents Leamon and Ada Evans of Raleigh, NC; and Sister: Barbara Jean
Roscoe of Raleigh, NC.

Harold leaves to cherish his memories; Spouse: Susan J. Evans resides in Wendell, NC; Sister: Velma Britt resides Raleigh, NC, Brother: Larry Taylor (Debora Taylor) resides in Round Rock, TX; Children: Zandra Lawrence (Michael)
resides in Nevada, Jessica Evans resides in Nevada, Regina Marie Rasmussen (Soren Hansen) resides in Denmark, Jaymes Evans McLean resides in Raleigh, NC, Karen McIntyre (Lindzey McIntyre) resides in Cary, NC, and Toya Johnson resides in Wendell, NC; Mother-in- law: Nancy Howard (H.L.) resides in Louisiana; eight Grandchildren; two Great-Grandchildren; and a host of Nephews, Nieces, and friends.
