Obituary
John Douglas Cates Sr. of Fuquay Varina, NC passed away on May 9, 2023 at the age of 71.
He was the son of the late Roy Sr & Alice Cates. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings: Roy Cates Jr, Betty Wilkins, Phyllis Pope, George Cates and David Cates.
His surviving siblings: Marie Gooch(Ed), Bill Cates(Revonda) and Brenda Hart. He will be missed immensely by his surviving children Alice Beck and John Cates Jr(Karla). Surviving grandchildren Christian Beck Jr, Lindsey and Kelcie Cates were his pride and joy and they will miss fishing trips with their papa.
