Ms. Marseller ”Mott” McPhatter, daughter of the late John Henry Mcphatter Sr. and Evelyn McPhatter, was born February 27, 1960 in Wagram, North Carolina.
“Mott” was known as a caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to so many people. She continued her career after school as aide in the local community for over 30 years. She loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family. Family would often gather around the kitchen as she blessed them with her soulful gift, and love. She kept the room full of laughter as she played cards and would often joke about the
unique smells she would often describe. She would always put a smile on everyone's face. She was a God-fearing woman who loved her family. She rededicated her life to Christ before she gained her wings.
She was proceeded in death by her parents John Henry and Evelyn McPhatter. Her brother John Henry McPhatter Jr, sister-in- law, Dora McNeill, sisters ,Mary Alice McPhatter and Bonita Atkins. She leaves to cherish her son Stephan Joseph McPhatter of Lillington, NC; daughter, Bonita Ann Blue (Chris Blue) of the home in Lillington, NC: three aunts, Martha McArn, Estela McArn of Raeford, NC Oease McNeill of Wagram, NC; two sisters Annie Louise McPhatter and Annie Mae McPhatter of Lillington, NC; 3 brothers Charlie McNeill of Wagram, NC, James Harvey McPhatter and Daniel Hector McPhatter (Cathy McPhatter) her special sister-in-law of Lillington, NC; 12 grandchildren a host of nieces and nephews and a very special friend Raymond Green, along with many other friends.
The family of Marseller “Mott” McPhatter would like to thank everyone for all of your prayers, words of comfort, and many acts of kindness. Words cannot express how thankful we are for the love and support. A special thank you the Hospice care team, we truly thank you. May God Bless you all.
