Meleonesse Natasha Green, lovingly and affectionately known to many as “Tasha” was born to Rosalind Renee Green and James Young in Raleigh, North Carolina on the twenty-ninth day of July, 1984. Her earthly journey was completed on the fifth day of September, 2022. Tasha, at an early age, was baptized at Maple Temple United Church of Christ in Raleigh, North Carolina where she remained a member. Even before her baptism, she was a dedicated and faithful member of the Youth Ministry, Usher Ministry, Children’s Choir, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was a willing worker in the church and never refused to fulfil any task to be done.
Tasha was educated in the Public School System of Wake County and attended Sanderson High School. She had a love for working with food service and was employed by various restaurants in Raleigh and most recently at Big Ed’s Restaurant.
Tasha was a very cheerful and loving person who never met strangers. She had an infectious smile that showed the love that she had for family, friends and people at large. Grandparents who preceded Tasha in death are Willie Evans and Mary Ross. Those left to cherish her memories in their hearts forever include her daughter, Tashriya Green of the home; mother, Rosalind Renee Green; father, James Young; siblings, Teneka Holmes and James Young Jr.; grandmother, Frances Green; grandfather, James Green; an aunt, Joan Elliott; three nieces; two nephews; a childhood and caring mentor, Charissa McCullers, and other loving family members and friends too numerous to name.
