Obituary
Merrill Carroll Lang passed away peacefully on July 24,2022 at 9:25am EST in Durham, NC under the care of Duke Hospice in Duke Regional Hospital. He was 70 years old, born on August 31,1951 in Boston, Massachusetts to Merrill C. Lang Sr. and Alice (Glynn) Lang. Merrill is survived by his Stepson, James Radcliffe (also of Durham), along with a Sister, Kathleen Lang Ruggiero, Nephew, Jonathan Ruggiero, and other family and friends. Additionally, he had a host of friends from the International Churches of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Kathryn (Radcliffe) Lang. Merrill was a godly man who was devoted to serving on the Audio/Visual Team with his church. He loved helping others and building things. As a lover of pets, Merrill had many dogs over his life, leaving behind his beloved dog, Zoë at the time of his death. Additionally, Merrill was a Veteran who served his country well - having served in Vietnam with the Air Force. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, August 7 at 12:30pm at the Triangle Church of Christ in Durham, NC.
