Michael Conway Fowler born December 11th 1962 of Durham NC, passed away on March 25th 2023 surrounded by his family after a long battle with lung disease. He was the son of the late Sandra Faye Sarvis of Henderson, and Charles Lamar Fowler of Maryland. He was a carpenter by trade, and loved hunting, fishing, singing, dancing, and living his life to the fullest. If you ever met Michael you would not forget him, he was the loudest in the room, the funniest in the room, and always had a story to tell. He loved hard, lived hard, and fought hard to the end. He was known in his family as “that rascal”. Michael’s faith in God got him through some very rough times, but this time, the fight left him, he was tired, and ready to go be with his mother and God above. He was saved many years ago at Freedom Life Church on Fire and kept that faith and love for God up until the day he passed. It was hard to let him go, but our faith as well knows he will suffer no more and that he will live an everlasting life. He deserves that life, and our family takes comfort knowing that he is now at peace. He would say his greatest accomplishments in life were his children and his family. He would say FowlerStrong always. He will be missed and the silence for us all will be hard to get used to. He is survived by his five children (Heather Dawn Fowler of Durham), (Michael Lee Fowler (wife Brittany) of Orange County), (Joseph Chase Fowler of Wake County), (Kayla Lamar Fowler Blalock (Husband Ryan) of Person County), and (Jesse Earl Fowler of Raleigh). He also leaves behind four grandchildren (Skylar Dawn Powell, Robert Thomas Fowler, Autumn Leannee Fowler, and Averie Grace Fowler). Michael is survived by 5 siblings (Sarita Fowler Lestyan (Husband Pete) of Henderson. (Sheila Fowler Olds (Husband Ronald) of Henderson, (Charles Timothy (Breeze) Fowler of Henderson, (William Brian Glasgow) of West Va, and (Donald Earl Sarvis) of Henderson. Thank you for the love, the tears, the emotions that this has given to us all. We will stand up like you want and continue to keep your memory alive. We love you and will miss you for eternity. Go have that dance with your mom. You are now in the arms of an angel.
