Rhonda Rigsbee Jessup, 68, of Durham, NC, went home to be with Jesus on April 20th after a short but valiant battle with lung cancer.
Rhonda was born on September 21, 1953 to Donald Lee Rigsbee and Margie Armstrong Rigsbee in Durham, NC. After graduating from Southern Durham High School in 1972, she went on to start her life and career. She ended her career being one of the top sales consultants at Fred Anderson Kia, where her colleagues claimed she was an “Absolute Inspiration”.
When she was not working, she loved to live life to the fullest and spend her time with her dearest family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at Carolina Beach and in the North Carolina mountains. She also was a proud member of Living Waters Christian Community in Durham, NC, and cherished her time with her church family, where she will missed immensely.
Rhonda is survived by her mother, Margie Rigsbee Roberts, and her 3 siblings, Donald Lee Rigsbee Jr., Pamela Rigsbee Midgette, and Randy Dean Rigsbee. She loved her cousins, that she grew up with as well, Vicki Spell Pickard, Mike Spell, Harvey Buzzy Watkins, Rose Watkins Bass, Paul Stewart Howerton, Lynne Howerton Ross, Lena Denise Howerton, and Debra Kay Watkins. She is survived by her only child, William Carr Tilley IV; and her one grandchild, Micheal Bradley Macon. She also had too special little girls that were dearest to heart, Hailey Jessup and Rhiley Riddle.
Her services will be held Sunday May 1st @ Living Waters Christian Community Church at 1 PM EST. Any flowers can be sent to Margie Rigsbee Roberts @ 1127 Orange Factory Rd. Bahama, NC 27503
