Our dear mother Rita Zoraida Negron sadly passed away on November 3rd, 2022, at the age of 90. She will always be remembered as a unique, and intelligent woman, who was extremely proud of her Puerto Rican birth, heritage and culture. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother and is survived by her daughters Joanne (Natalie), Irene (David), her Grandson Brandon Sr. (Donna), Granddaughter Elaine (Elliot), and predeceased by her
Granddaughter Erika. Her most profound pride and joy were always her Great grandchildren, some of whom she did not get to meet but who we know she will always love and watch over: Brandon Jr, Alyssa, Christina, Rita, Antonio, Lola, Olivia, David Nicolas, Viki, Frankie, Marko, Tristan, and Connor. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the senior community in Highpoint, North Carolina, where she enjoyed her retirement years until she became ill. Mama's favorite song in life was "I'll be seeing you" by Nancy Wilson and we feel the lyrics are most fitting in our farewell to her - She will be greatly missed.
I'll be seeing you
In all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces
All day through
I'll find you in the morning sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you
