Roselle Ora Schwetz

August 31, 1942 ~ May 26, 2021 (age 78)

Obituary

Roselle Ora (Will, Lisowe) Schwetz, 8/31/1942-5/26/2021.The final crescendo of her life occurred on Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Rose/Rosie/Rosebud/Mom, the first-born of Edgar and Shirley (Wieland) Will of the St Cloud area, died exactly how she lived: fully fighting against whatever challenges life set before her, in her case- Lewy Body Dementia.

Rose was strong until the very end, and was surrounded by loved ones, both in-person and by electronic proxy. She died on hump day (Wednesday), not able to make it over the hump, and would have never understood why it is called hump day. Her last days were spent under the loving and comforting care at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh.

She leaves behind her boys, David & Steven Lisowe, as well as her friend Jeffrey Burton.  In addition, she leaves her two sisters, Janet Johnson of Kiel and Sharon (Ron) Thelen of Marytown, as well as a collection of Heus Family loved ones and their connected others:  Connie, Gerry, Kathy, Sharon, Mike, Patty, Susie, Bobby, & Kris.  Preceding her in death were her parents, brother Darryl Will, step father Ralph Heus, step brother Allen Heus.

Rose was a proud graduate of the 1960 class of New Holstein High, after attending grade school at Holy Cross, Mt Calvary, where she learned that rulers across the knuckles from the nuns was unpleasant but educational.

Rose left the Earth to find a Sadlack's Heroes sub shop in Heaven.  She'll be there, waiting for all of us to order a sandwich, and she may even step out of the kitchen to see how business is going.  She always liked it when things were busy.

There will be no service or memorial, but instead a loud party at the Berkeley
Cafe in Raleigh on Saturday 28, August 2021, where attendees can donate to Lewy Body Dementia Research Charities or just have a drink and smile knowing that Rose is working on their order.
