Sandra Lea Yates, 50, of Pikeville, NC, passed away on September 25, 2023 at UNC Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC. She was born on January 26, 1973.

Sandra is survived by her son, Chase Mangrum, daughter, Harley Tyndall, son, Austin Tyndall, daughter, Jordan Cowell, sister, Regina (Patrick) Freeman, sister, Pamela (Michael) Green, and brother, Brian Yates. She was preceded in death by her father, James Yates, and her mother, Cora Sue Brown (Mayberry).

Sandra attended Benton Consolidated High School, where she received her high school education.
