Stella Elaine Stafford Wade, surrounded by her family at home, entered peacefully into eternity to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday evening, October 3, 2023 at 10:48 pm.

A native of Raleigh, Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Boyce and Florence Stafford; her daughter, Heather Wade Humphrey; her great- granddaughter, Angel Hannah; former husband, Furman Wade; brothers, Henry and Boyce Jr.; her nephews, Hank, Dave Jr., and Drew.

Elaine leaves to cherish her precious memories: her daughter, Terisa Wade Hall (Jon); son-in-law, David Humphrey; granddaughters, Jennifer Hannah, Tiffany Gentzel (Gaelin), Amanda Humphrey (Michael), Haylie Mas (Andrew), and Makayla Humphrey (Chris); great-grandsons, Shawn, Braeden, Everett, Jake, Dawson, Chase, and Derek; siblings, Dave Stafford (Connie), Patricia Easley, Robert Stafford, and Connie Lloyd; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws and cherished friends.

A Celebration of Elaine’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from 1:00- 4:00pm, at the Kincaid’s home (1097 Flat Rock Church Rd, Louisburg NC 27549). Memorials may be made through R. M. Ferguson Funeral Service.
