Tom Noldan, 65, of Henrico, VA passed away while surrounded by family on Wednesday, August 9th after battling several illnesses over the last decade. A memorial mass will be held Friday, August 25th at 2 PM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside, IA. Following the mass, the family will celebrate Tom’s life and memories from 3 – 6 PM at the VFW in Riverside. Thomas Michael Noldan was born January 8, 1958, in Chicago, IL, the son of Oscar “Bud” Noldan and Mary (Haughey) Noldan. He graduated from Glenbard East High School in 1976. On June 7th , 1980 he was married to Donna (Thomann) Noldan at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside, IA.
Tom worked in residential construction for over 35 years. Tom spent most of his adult life in Southwest Florida where he owned a precast concrete business. He enjoyed boating and fishing with his family and friends. In 2019, Tom and Donna relocated to Virginia to spend more time with grandchildren. Tom will be remembered by his infectious smile and drop anything-for anyone attitude.
Tom will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Donna; three children: Megan Noldan, Matt (Elizabeth) Noldan, and Beth (Brendan) Morrison; three grandchildren: Emily, Mae, and Graham; his mother-in-law Betty Thomann; three siblings: John (Peg) Noldan, Nancy (Steve) Dalaskey, and Barbara (Chris) Albury; and many brothers- and sisters-in law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his friend and father-in-law, Clement “Joe” Thomann.
