Tony Forest Green, 67, of Raleigh NC passed away February 5 2024 at Wake Medical Center surrounded by his family and special friends
Tony was predeceased by his parents Ashley and Audrey Green and sister in law Jenny Green of Raleigh and special nephew Dell Green
He graduated from Garner High school in 1974
Tony worked most of his adult life in residential Construction as a carpenter
Most of his life with the exception of a few years he lived in the home he grew up in. After his parents both died he lived with his younger brother Craig and his family. His friends and family would alway say let’s go to Tony and Craig’s. Even if they only were needing to see just one of them. They were usually always together.
Tony enjoyed fishing and NASCAR He went on many trips with his best friend John Poole to Las Vegas, Nashville, Daytona and Richmond as well as other places. Tony always enjoyed getting together with friends and family for cookouts and dinners. He loved barbecuing a pig
He is survived by a sister Carol Keith (Ted) and brothers Carl Green (Carrie) Mike Green and Craig Green. Special niece Audrey Rico (Johnathan ) Johnny and Isabella and nephew Craig Green Jr children Lila and Elijah. Tony is survived by many other loving nieces and nephews They all loved Uncle Tony
The family will visit with friends and extended family at Ebenezer Methodist Church, 6020 Rock Quarry Road, Raleigh NC Saturday February 10 at 2:00 where Tony joined the church when he was 13.
In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations to help with Mr. Greens arrangements.
