ravis Lambright, born on November 12th, 1978, was a beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who left this world on May 12th, 2023. Travis was the first born to Portia Bradley-Lambright and Gary Lambright. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up in various towns across the country, attending schools in Texas, Arkansas, and North and South Carolina. Travis enjoyed skateboarding, soccer, fitness, playing the Tuba, singing and free-styling rap songs. He was always a willing party participant and had a contagious energy that could light up a room.
At 20 years of age, Travis enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served on the USS Kitty Hawk and saw action as a naval Crew Member in Afghanistan. Upon his release from service, Travis went to college and completed a bio-work course of study at Wake County Technical Institute. He subsequently worked as a Manufacturing Technician for the Purell Company located in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Following this experience, he completed the requirements for a commercial driver's license and worked as a Truck Driver for C R England Trucking Company, traveling across the country. Travis always had a taste for new adventures.
Travis will be remembered for his infectious smile, quiet manner and his love for family and friends. He is survived by his mother Portia Bradley-Lambright, his father Gary Lambright, his brother Jasen Lambright and sister-in-law Christine, his great-aunt Perto Coleman and a host of Aunts, Uncles, nieces and nephews. Travis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
